Effort and Ease: June 9 10.00am-1.00pm

Sometimes yoga can seem a very relaxing activity but at other times we are asked to make a great deal of effort in an attempt to attain or maintain a pose. Then there are times we are asked to relax while maintaining a demanding pose. What are we to make of such contradictory requests? Is yoga about relaxation or about effort? In this series of workshops we will look at the nature of effort in yoga and what ease means.

These workshops are suitable for those who have been attending Iyengar yoga classes for at least 2 years.
